Greetings AllJust as timely was Phil's post regarding his chase for the possible Striated Grasswren splits. Having watched the ABC's "Australian Story" last week about the small outback township of Yaraka, Fay and I have decided to visit the place to explore its birding potential. That initial plan soon expanded out to a a more elaborate 2000+ km circuit involving Eulo [famed for its "Bore"]: South Nanango [home], Eulo, Yaraka [main target], Longreach, Rockhampton and back to South Nanango. We'd appreciate any advice from those who have explored anywhere along this circuit, particularly with recommendations of national parks/state forests, etc. worth a small detour.
