Subject: | SYDNEY PELAGIC TRIP - SATURDAY 11 APRIL 2015 - White-faced Heron seen offshore |

Hi all although we didn't track its flight and see if it changed course again, the White-faced Heron noted in Roger McGovern's report was flying southwards along the coast and then turned and headed south-east (ie across the Tasman). Do Aussie White-faced Herons go to NZ? Overall a great day out and great to see the Grey Noddy (not seen one in Aussie waters since 1995) and the White-chinned Petrel (lifer). The last 2 Sydney Pelagics have put out some great birds so if you can I'd encourage people to get out there and see what shows up.
