Hello everyone. I had a strange experience yesterday. Sitting in my office at home, on the edge of dense eucalypt forest (rainforest understorey) I was astonished to see an adult Spotted Harrier fly past the window into the trees. It dodged gracefully amongst the trunks before making a circuit back to the house and perching on a nearby branch for 5 minutes (I have some nice photos). Has anyone had any experience of a harrier in the forest? I have seen Wedge-tailed Eagles performing the same feat.
