Australia in 1923!

Just received an email from John Darnell about another new bird for
Australia and Christmas Island, a specimen of Blyth's Pipit that was
collected in 1923! The specimen was considered lost and the ID doubtful
(James & McAllan 2014) but has just been re-found in the Berlin Museum.

While on the subject of Blyth, the write-up of the Blyth's Swift seen on
Cocos in December has just been submitted to BARC for assessment.
