Hello Shane, We lived at Beerwah from about 2000 until 2010 and in my opinion, Cane Toads suffered a significant decrease in numbers during that period - I've no idea of the reason, possibly just a normal population correction after reaching a peak? I don't think it was an abnormally dry period although just before we arrived ( in 1999 I think) Beerwah had one of the wettest years on record. This is also anecdotal.
