   Mon 12 Jan Nankeen Night Heron Todd River, Alice Springs
   Single bird seen in flight above Todd River from South Terrace in the
   late afternoon. Report included on interest basis, due to recent
   flooding and WATER in the Todd R. This area is usually arid.

   Painted Snipe Barkley Homestead
   2 Painted Snipe (now believed adult male and Female) in a puddle at the
   back of the Barkley Homestead Campground. Seen at 6PM, both birds very
   happy to stay wading despite approaches

   Darwin City
   Lone bird, weary condition.
