Sun 11 Jan Turquoise Parrot Bunyip State Park
Small party of Turquoise Parrots flushed along Channel Track including
at least one juv. Poor record shot taken

Sat 10 Jan Banded Lapwing Lake Hamilton (Tyers St dead end)
A young bird which appeared to be hanging out with the local Masked
Lapwings until they all flew off with only the Banded returning a short
time later

Fri 9 Jan re Long-billed Dowitcher Lake Tutchewop
Long-billed Dowitcher apparently absent from Lake. Searched southern
end of Lake without success on Friday afternoon and evening. Searched
on Saturday morning, afternoon and evening again without success. Very
few waders there, saw only two small flocks. No BWST and only a hand
full of STSP. Weather was rainy and overcast.

Freckled Ducks Bendigo Sewage Ponds
There were 14 Freckled Ducks seen this morning along with at least a
thousand Pink-eared Ducks, several Hardheads, Grey and Chestnut Teal,
Australian Shovelers, Red-necked Avocets, Pacific Black Ducks,
Australian Shelducks, Black-winged Stilts, Sharp-tailed Sandpipers just
to name a few.
