May I suggest that Birding Aussers feeling the heat down south, consider travelling to the Top End at this time of year? Our temperature at the moment ranges between 24 and 29oC, the humidity is absolutely no problem and the rain is lovely. Not the best time of year for granivores as few grasses are seeding - although if you can find species such as Alloteropsis semialata, you could be in luck.
