Driving down the Mornington Peninsula freeway at about 11.30 am, I saw about eight, maybe nine, Cape Barren Geese in a paddock of short grass, probably cut for hay. This was a bit north of Eramosa Road West. Landscape full of horse paddocks and hay rolls.
