Sue
When I went to Delhi in 2011, I bought a copy of Birds of India (incl Pakistan,
Nepal etc) by Richard Grimmett, Carol Inskipp and Tim Inskipp (Princeton Uni
Press, 1999). Not too heavy which made it portable in the field. I think that
the bloke that took me out for a day had a copy in his car too.
I reckoned I was best off getting a guide that covers the whole country in case
I ever went back.
Have a great trip.
Cheers
