Birdline Australian Capital Territory Published sightings for the week ending 9 Nov 2014. Sat 8 Nov Black-winged Stilt North Weston Ponds, ACT A single bird feeding on the eastern margin of the pond below the RSPCA, Weston. 8.30 am It was still there at 9.30 am. Arthur Connor Sun 2 Nov Australian Koel Gore St Higgins This bird has been calling from afar for the past 2 weeks - usually from before sun up. Yesterday evening (approx. 6pm) it was perched in my large cherry tree, from where it called for about 10 minutes - before it flew away.
