Hi Charles,
Yes, I have read about the proposal to introduce Tassie Devils to Victoria. An
interesting idea, but I do have a few qualms about it. Tassie Devils do not
just prey on feral cats and they may find the mainland's small mammals much
easier prey. Trying to replace a predator with a predator just sounds a bit odd
to me. I would rather see the introduction of a feline specific biological
agent.
