Birdline Western Australia Published sightings for the week ending 2 Nov 2014. Sat 25 Oct Musk Duck, Blue-breasted Fairy-wren Waychinicup National Park Pair Blue-breasted fairy wren in gully where road crosses Waychinicup River. Have only seen pairs of Red-winged FW in the general area (large numbers) of this NP. Surprised to see female Musk duck feeding in estuary below northern most campsites - appears to be infrequently recorded at this location. [Moderators note (NJ): Observer provided a good description of the fairy-wrens seen, consistent with Blue-breasted, which is a good record along this part of the coast] Rob Reed

Birding-Aus mailing list

To change settings or unsubscribe visit:
http://birding-aus.org/mailman/listinfo/birding-aus_birding-aus.org
|
