G'day Don HANZAB says:Breeding very poorly known & no major studies. Does say one current nest tree had two older hollows presumed to be from previous years. So looks like there is an opportunity for someone in Cairns to do some useful follow up work on that nest site. Cheers Mike On 28/09/2014, at 3:34 PM, Donald G. I dont have a copy of Hanzab handy so I dont have a reference to answer this question. Do Fig Parrots re-use the cavity theyhave excavated or create a new one each year?
