Birdline Northern Territory Published sightings for the week ending 21 Sep 2014. Fri 19 Sep Chestnut Rail Mule Creek--boat ramp 15 38 58S 136 24 48 E Sighted at old boat ramp upstream from current facility. First located 18/9. Pair of birds on dusk on other side of creek. Returned today. One extremely vociferous bird asserting its territoriality mid-afternoon and seen at 3.30 at distance. Set up for photos opposite yesterday's sighting. Nothing seen till after sunset when pair appeared out of range and light further downstream. Dreadful record photos even worse than John Weigel's !!
