Not quite, Green John. There has been an eradication program for Bulbuls in
Melbourne, but there certainly hasn't been one for Song Thrushes...

Hi Dave, not likely to be escapees as I don't believe they are in aviaries
in Victoria or Australia for that matter.

They were established populations once, but seemingly have gone down the
same track as Song Thrushes are now....
