Brolgas over Western Highway

Driving east from Beaufort and approaching Ballarat, near Brewery Tap Rd, early yesterday afternoon - say about 1.40 pm, I saw two large long-necked birds approaching from the south - not black, more grey... not geese... too solid for herons and necks not pulled in. BROLGAS! They must have passed over the car. Quite the high point of the drive back from Horsham.
