I have just come across an Australian bird guide app I haven't seen before. It is the Australian Bird Guide, by Galexy P/L. It is a fairly basic guide, with photographic illustrations. It, unfortunately, does not cover all Aus species, due to availability of photographs, but it does cover 754 species. It would be pretty good for a young birder. One of the plusses for it, is that it is free.
