In Jabiru on June 21 ago heard on consecutive days the unmistakeable call of a Channel-billed Cuckoo. HANZAB doesn't mention over-wintering in NT, just north Qld, but several sightings in recent weeks around Darwin mentioned in NT-birding with Richard Noske commenting that there were only 5 June & 2 July records before this year.
