Thanks for the responses. I gave the traditional locations of Norlangie Rock and Bolwari Visitor Centre a re-try this morning and came up trumps. Thanks again for suggestions which I'll save for next time! The fruities could be heard a bit after sunrise from the gully to the east of bush walk uphill, about a half klick from car park. The partridge was on Kakadu hwy roadside verge 200m sth of Bolwari turnoff.
