The best places close to Doha to go birding are the Abu Nakhla sewage ponds
(on the Salwa Road just beyond the city- maybe a 30 minute drive) and the
Irkhayya Farm (also on Salwa Road - maybe 30 minutes further drive on the
road to Saudi) Amazing birding at both places.
