Published sightings for the week ending 1 Jun 2014.

Thu 29 May Swamp Harrier "Creekton", Poatina
Today I saw a Swamp Harrier swoop down and catch a native hen. The hen made a terrible racket and with this four other hens rushed over, all hackled up, and proceeded to jump onto the hawk. They saw him off empty handed!
