HiWe went to an Important Bird Area, IBA, in the Philippines and found that i was under threat with the owner wanting to sell it or use it as a rice paddy. I emailed Birdlife International, Asia and Australia to see if anything could be done to save this IBA but I have not had any reply. As IBAs were a Birdlife initiative I thought they may have shown some interest so is there anyone out there that can provide me with an address I can try to see if anything can be done to protect this rare wetland.
