This vacancy may fit with someone's skill set and availability. I submit
my fungi records to Fungimap and find them a very helpful group of folk.

Hi Fungimappers!
You may or may not know but I am leaving Fungimap at the end of June to
start a PhD. I'll still be involved in a volunteer capacity, but, my job is
now up for grabs! I've had a wonderful time over the past 3 1/2 years so I
am certainly sad to be leaving and would recommend the job to anyone.
If you, or anyone you know, is interested, check out the position
description
here<http://jobs.careers.vic.gov.au/jobtools/jncustomsearch.viewFullSingle?in_organid=14123&in_jnCounter=222491906>.
Applications close 5pm Monday 19th May.
In other news, if you haven't already heard, Sapphire, Pat and Fran from
the Queensland Mycological Society have a new field guide that is available
to purchase on the Fungimap website: Australian Subtropical
Fungi<https://fungimap.org.au/>.
Keep an eye out for our upcoming newsletter in the next few weeks, for a
report on the Queensland Fungi Festival and some other goodies.
Hope the rain is encouraging some mycological madness in your area,
Blanche Higgins
