Hi Jude,

I remember seeing a pair in Sydney many years ago (?1970s) at either Centennial Park or the Royal Botanic Gardens. Whether they were 'wild' birds or semi-domesticated I cannot say.

Have noticed this NZ bird PS (Tadorna variegata) is now on the Australian
IOC checklist.
Can anyone tell me where this bird / or these birds have been found in Oz,
I'd like to add a location factor to the bird.
Many thanks
Jude
