David,
We have a pair here on Petersen Creek in Yungaburra, fairly tolerant of people movement but this bird is amazingly resistant to traffic.
Regards,
Alan

Hi everyone,
I've just put a video on vimeo of my recent outing to see the Barking Owl at Narrabeen.

A great few hours spent with this bird right next to the track - although i spent more time talking to and educating passers by than i did photographing :)

Cheers
Dave Stowe
