A Whistling Kite was shot on a Victorian wetland open for shooting at Easter
weekend. Waterfowl ID tests don't really explain or excuse these acts.

On a quiet weekend at Lake Lonsdale, only a Eurasian Coot, a Pink-eared Duck
and a Freckled Duck were found dead and discarded. These, together with the
kite, were presented at Labor leader, Daniel Andrews' office on 23/4. Victorian
Labor's policy currently supports duck hunting.
