Australian Spotted Crake
Gould's Lagoon
South end of the lagoon about 10:30 am - I watched a pair of Australian Spotted Crakes for about an hour while they foraged for food, sometimes together and sometimes alone. They spent a lot of time in fairly open areas and did not seem to notice me. Perhaps they are getting used to being observed.
