Yesterday at about 9.30 am on the barrage road at Goolwa (SA) , just past and round the corner from the bird hide, we had six or seven brown quail standing on the road in full view. As they saw our car they flew across the road into the dunes where we watched them working their way through the very low scrub. Tony Russell and Burt May. It's not every day one sees quail. _______________________________________________ Birding-Aus mailing list To change settings or unsubscribe visit: http://birding-aus.org/mailman/listinfo/birding-aus_birding-aus.org |
