During some birding forays about the Sunshine Coast, Pale-vented Bush-hen and Baillon's Crake were seen at the Cooroy sewage treatment works; Fairy Gerygone along the Cooroy-Tewantin Road, Baillon's Crake and large numbers of Whte-throated Needletails at Parklakes (150+); and Shining Flycatcher at Bli Bli.
