Plumed Whistle Ducks Plumed Whistle Ducks have been around Brooms Head, North Coast of NSW for a few years now, but have been seen closer to the houses along the ocean front over the last few weeks. Just now, a pair with at least 8 ducklings were seen at the junction of the Brooms Head and Sandon Roads. So that would seem to indicate their presence becoming more permanent.
