Hi all, Typically by this time of year my local northern Sydney bush area (Lane Cove Nat Park and Kuringai Chase Nat Park - esp Bobbin Head sector) is flooded with Scarlet HEs and their distinctive "hehdiddlediddle" calls. This year they are almost completely absent. I assume this has something to do with the massive spring fires perhaps burning out migration routes. Is this just my imagination? If not, any other ideas re the no show?
