Wynton Maddeford reports a Painted Snipe at North Lake this morning, on the eastern side between the main lake and a drier eastern lake Anyone wanting to try for a look, I would recommend early morning or late afternoon, when the bird is more likely to appear in the open. Please try to avoid flushing it if possible, it should go without saying but there were a few issues at the same site when four birds appeared a year ago Wayne Merritt also reports the Intermediate Egret is still present at Lake Joondalup Sth today Cheers, John _______________________________________________ Birding-Aus mailing list To change settings or unsubscribe visit: http://birding-aus.org/mailman/listinfo/birding-aus_birding-aus.org |
