At the beginning of the week I reported Baillon's Crake and Spotless Crake at the newly created Parklakes wetlands on the Sunshine Coast. Since then, birds recorded here include Australian Little Bittern, Pale-vented Bush-hen and Lewin's Rail. I saw the bittern showing nicely this morning.
