I saw Sanderling!

We newbies tend to get a tad excited about things.

Thank you so much to those who replied on list and privately. We headed for 
Barwon Heads, and saw about 70 Sanderling on the beach just to the right of the 
Point Impossible car park. They were doing their little dances up and down with 
the waves in the sun - we watched for about an hour.

ID was confirmed by Damian Kelly (just in case you're worried about my 
competence to ID - I would be), who also took photos and video.

Thank you again - this birding caper is addictive.
