Nice birds seen on and around the Sunshine Coast today with Margie and Tony Baker included Lewin's Rail (crippling views), Barred Cuckoo-shrike, Painted Button-quail, Fairy Gerygone, White-eared Monarch, exceptional numbers of Wompoo Fruit-Dove, Spotted Harrier, Dusky Honeyeater, Grey Goshawk on a nest and Black-necked Stork, while yesterday I had King Quail at a new site near Cooroy.
