Bird flu and journalists

Am I dreaming? Did a journalist actually and deliberately enter an area 
declared to be quarantined due to bird flu being diagnosed in the chicken farm 
on that property simply to get an “exclusive” story?

A “Google” search will quickly find what I’m referring to.
