Hi All, I've been seeing a Superb Fairy-wren with some black remiges. The left wing appears to have more black feathers than the right. There are some record shots (scroll through the images, last one is best) here http://birdranger.wildiaries.com/trips/11150-Fairy-wren-Feathers-Spring-Clea ning Red-backed Fairy-wrens occupy the same area. Also some recent sightings on that link. There is also an archived Birding-Aus thread on a similar topic.
