Black-tailed Native-hen at Long Reef Golf Course Black-tailed Native-hen was reported on birdingAus this weekend. A single Black-tailed Native-hen has been turning up at the pond-with-island at Long Reef Golf Course for at least 6 years. I think Bob Way was the first to report it around 2007. I first saw it in October 2009 - don't know whether it is a summer migrant or a permanent resident.
