Yes Bernard,
I was today forced to recall a nasty incident from my past on this list. I had been abused for not disclosing one piece of information which was worth a fair bit of time and money to me and had reacted angrily, even intemperately. All but one person who responded to my rant came out in my defense. Today I was talking to one of those people who only knew of me through this forum. I still feel grateful to all of you who supported me when I over-reacted to that one, not so nice, person.

Good birding to you all,
Alan

Hello All
I just returned from a 8 day trip birding around the NSW coast and southern QLD. I dont know if this is the right forum for this, but i just wanted to give a big THANK YOU for all those people that enabled me to find my target birds through this wonderful connection. It just shows what terrific and unselfish birdo's are! A special thank you to Dan Mantle, Kay Parkin and Nickolas Haas for their very accurate advice as to where to find birds. I spent Friday night with Phil Maher doing the Plains Wanderer tour which was highly successful and achieved all target species. We stayed are Wanganella Caravan Park which was fantastic. Very secluded, cheap and great facilities so I highly recommend you stay there if you are in the Deniliquin region. Toilet block is new and spotless. The Camp Kitchen is superb! Thanks again everyone who contributed. I hope i can repay the debt I owe by giving you a guided tour around WTP one day.
Kind regards
Bernie OKeefe
