RFI Koh Samet (Thailand)

Hi folks, Bill here

We're looking to change our flights back from Aurora Borealis hunting on the 
Russian-Norwegian border at Christmas so we can have a few days in Thailand.  
(Jealous yet?)  The family is keen on staying at Koh Samet, where we stayed in 
1987.

It's early days, yet, but does anyone know if there's good birding there, and 
if so, does anyone know any guides?
