On Sunday afternoon I went for a walk at Isaacs Ridge and was coming back through the pine forest at sunset when I heard a Tawny Frogmouth calling. It called a couple of times, but stopped when I tried to find it. It's the first time I've ever heard a Frogmouth call when it wasn't fully dark (it was only just after the sun had set). Are Frogmouths common around the ACT? ======= Rob Geraghty =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
