Coconut Lorikeet

I see that the IOC has now split the Rainbow Lorikeet with Rainbow Lorikeet (Trichoglossus moluccanus), Red-collared Lorikeet (T. rubritorquis) and Coconut Lorikeet (T. haematodus).  The latter is the scientific name I had seen used for Rainbow Lorikeet in Australia (see Wikipedia note below).

It appears that Coconut Lorikeet is the form that occurs on Saibai Island in the Torres Strait, and possibly other islands and maybe adjacent PNG?

Wikipedia only has Rainbow Lorikeet as an overriding species T. haematodus.  It has the sub species for the Torres Strait Islands and nearby Cape York as T. h. septentrionalis with the common name Swainson's Lorikeet.  It puts Coconut Lorikeet as T. h. massena as occurring on eastern New Guinea, Louisiade Archipelago, Karkar Island, Bismarck Archipelago, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu.  Of course Wikipedia is only a guide and not a reliable reference.

Does anyone know any more about Coconut Lorikeet?
