read SEQWater is considering allowing powered boats on Lake Samsonvale with
only 4 days left of consultation, please follow the links and register your
displeasure......it is still a 'fauna-sanctuary' and one of the best
birding-spots in Qld (IMHO)

You can complete the survey (last link) without registering, but I have
also registered (the second link).
If you could get your bird watching friends or groups to protest that would
be pretty significant I think. I wonder if there were any bird watching
groups represented at yesterday's workshop (the discussion paper is at
first link).
