Dear Birding-Aus’ers,
I am doing a bit of a clean out of my library (as I keep buying bird books and
only have so much shelf space) and wondered if anyone would be interested in
the below books. I am happy to give them away, but if anyone would like to pay
for any of them, I will donate all the proceeds to Birdlife Australia (receipt
from BA provided).
Most of the books are in very good condition for their age except the ex
library books which are a bit tatty and the Mammal book. The list is as follows.
Jean Dorset (1982) The life of Birds Volume 1 Redwood Burn Ltd. Trowbridge
Jean Dorset (1982) The life of Birds Volume 2 Redwood Burn Ltd. Trowbridge
Extracts from The Encyclopaedia of Birds (1984) The Miscellany of Birds
Bloomsbury Books London
Charles Tunnicliffe (1979) A sketchbook of birds Holt, Rinehart and Winston,
New York (ex library book)
Blakers M., S.J.J.F Davies, P. N. Reilly (1885) The Atlas of Australian Birds

Rutgers, A. (1972) Birds of South America (160 colour-plates from the
lithographs of John Gould) Eyre Methuen Ltd
Holmes, Glenn (1982) The heritage of Australian Birds (the indigenous bird
families of the Australian region). Illustrations Robert Edden Currawong Press
(ex library book)

Brazenor, C. W. (1950) The Mammals of Victoria (and the dental characteristics
of Monotremes and Australian Marsupials) Handbook No 1 National Museum of
Victoria. Brown, Prior, Anderson Pty Ltd Melbourne.
Please feel free to contact me on if you would like any
of the books. I live in Brunswick 3056 and am happy for them to be collected
from here (or my husband could take them into Melbourne CBD).
Cheers,
Susie Lycett (nee Anderson)
