I 'successfully' dipped today twice (Freckled Ducks still there though).

However, Nick's photo from yesterday is up on the web now for those interested
- see

sightings page (http://birdswa.org.au/sightings.htm)

Nick Hart saw and photographed the Striated Heron again at Herdsman today,
still along the drain near Settler's Cottage.

Thats my experience too - but the nearest mangroves are Bunbury to the south
and ?Carnarvon? to the north! So I would suspect it would have to do something
a bit different
 to usual!

Cheers
