i've just returned from the forum where John Young, Steve Murphy and others spoke about the Night Parrot and its future. Several high-quality photographs were displayed to the public, along with a few seconds of extremely exciting video. There is no doubt on this occasion about the authenticity of John's find and I congratulate him on this significant achievement. Hopefully we'll see some of these images in the next few days, and more down the track. There is a lot more to say, but for now, let's hope that good conservation outcomes for the preservation of the bird can be achieved.
