Hi Ivor,

Did you get any response to your post on the Emus near Bellingen? To my knowledge the north coast population of the Coastal Emu doesn't occur south of Red Rock these days. There was an old record at Urunga. I would suspect escapees.

On Monday, we were very surprised to see 2 Emu on the Bellinger River Flood plane near Thora. I entered them into Eremaea using the Dorrigo 1 deg Block and notice Emu was on the site list. Can anyone tell me if they are regulars or captives or?

Cheers
Ivor
