I visited Lake Lorne in Drysdale this afternoon and there are still 400+ Pink-eared Duck and 100+ Freckled Duck, mostly in one large mixed flock. Photos can be found at http://smissen.blogspot.com.au/2013/06/drysdale-ducks.html

Someone recently reported hundreds of Freckled Ducks at Lake Drysdale. I am
interested in exploring the possibility of filming the ducks but have never
been there. Is there anyone who might be kind enough to contact me off-forum
and outline the geography of the place? Can you get at all close to birds
   there? Many thanks.
