Area: SA

Date: Wednesday, May 8, 2013

Location: Cox Scrub CP.

Golden Whistler (Pachycephala pectoralis) (1) One male Golden Whistler found in
the chared remains of the scrub.

I went for a short walk, other birds seen were Crimson Rosella, Grey
Shrikethrush, New Holland Honeyeaters and Superb Fairy Wrens. All seen just
along the track from the car park, on the right hand side. Three Quarters of
the car park, right out to the main road is burnt out. All of the habitat that
I was aware could contain the chestnut-rumped Heathwren has gone.
